It was really a very good experience working with the HBO team. We faced the challenge of maintaining the feature parity of this application across multiple platforms(iPhone, iPad and Android). The application has shaped up well. I would like to thank everyone involved in this project for their hard work and support.

On seeing HBO GO application,
I can think of two trends,
1) TV Channels as apps for devices (an existing trend),
2) Future TV that support all variety of Apps (Google TV, etc) (an evolving trend)
It is good see that our team participating in these trends.
With the advent of high speed data transfers, streaming. HBO GO app may be regarded as a stepping stone for future Television and devices, where every TV channel may be an app. The apps can be downloaded into television which do not require a cable connection/Dish but requires Internet.
Congratulations to everyone who’s been a part of this project. This application has already reached the number one position in downloads, in app store free category, indicating that this is currently the most downloaded application. Well done team! Thank you all for your efforts and hard work that has gone into making this project a success.

I love this app and I feel happy that I am one among the team working on this project. In Android Market, the app crosses 50,000 to 1,00,000 downloads in three days which is great thing. I thank everyone who involved in this project and made the app successful.

Nice to see that HBO app has more number of downloads and also i would like to congratulate the team for giving such a wonderful product. It will be great for HBO app to have one or more sections to stream television channels such as HBO Family, HBO Movie, HBO Comedy etc.
